Whether you graduated decades ago or just a few years back, this is your chance to relive the magic and make new memories.

FAQ
Who can I bring?
Attendance will be limited to Alumni with spouse/ partner and children.
What is the weather like in San Diego, in late October?
Since we will be on the coast, it should be very pleasant 65-75° during the day, and a bit chilly outdoors at night.
How far is the Resort from the airport?
The resort is on Pacific Beach, about 6 miles from the airport and 9 miles from downtown. Uber should be between $20-30 depending on the demand.
How far is the Resort from the beach?
The resort is on the beach at Mission Bay, and 2 blocks from the ocean.
Are there eating places close to the Resort?
Yes, there are numerous restaurants, bars, waterfront dining, cafes, as well as grocery stores, pharmacies, beach and bike rentals, and even churches within walking distance.
Is alcohol allowed at the beach?
Alcohol consumption and possession is NOT permitted on the beach, and in open public areas (sports field)
Is there a noise ordinance?
Yes. Outdoor loud music is allowed until 10 pm, and indoors until 12 midnight.
Can golf be organized?
Due to lack of sufficient numbers, Golf will not be organized. If interested in local courses, Vivek will be able to assist vnazareth61@gmail.com
Can we do group booking for some of the attractions/ activities?
An optional San Diego City Trolley Tour is organized at $50 pp. We have filled one Trolley tour. If interested, please contact Romola Mascarenhas at romolamascarenhas@gmail.com to get on the waitlist for a second trolley (if adequate numbers).
An optional full day Mexican trip is organized at $200pp, on Wednesday, 10/21/2026. Passports, visas and Global Entry cards will be required. (We have 8 people booked)

What are the rates and booking instructions for the Resort reservations?
We have exceeded the maximum number of allocated rooms at The Catamaran Resort.

Registration is now CLOSED.

Is the registration fee considered a Chartiable contribution for tax purposes?
NO. The registration fee is to cover the costs of the event including CME, Meals (dinner on Friday, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Brunch on Sunday), Sports and Entertainment. It is NOT considered a Charitable Contribution by the IRS.
If you do want to make a Charitable contribution, this must be done directly through FOSJ and this can be accessed through their website at https://friendsofstjohnsmc.org

Organized Sports Activities
Saturday 11am-3pm (sign-ups required)
Men- Cricket and Soccer at the reserved Sports Field.(Equipment provided)
Women- Volleyball/Throwball/Tennicoit at the reserved Sports Field(equipment provided)
Open- Tennis/ Pickleball courts will be reserved at the nearby Bahia Hotel
(Bring your own equipment/ complimentary equipment is available)
Friday
Tennis and Pickleball courts can be booked at the nearby Bahia Resort, by anyone resident at the Catamaran Resort.
Suggested activities?
San Diego is a popular Vacation and Conference destination, and since it is in the Southwest corner of the country, adding a few days before or after the reunion will be quite rewarding.
Activities include:
- Balboa Park and Museums,
- Midway Museum (famous WWII aircraft carrier)
- Cabrillo National Monument
- Harbor/ Bay Cruises
- San Diego Zoo and Safari Parks (world famous)
- Sea World
- Legoland (for kids)
- Water sports and activities (sailing, wave runners, pontoon boats, floating Tiki Bars, surfing, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking.
- Guided snorkeling and kayak tours through the iconic La Jolla ecological reserve.
- Hiking and mountain biking trails
- Golf, including the famous Torrey Pines PGA course.
- Trips to Mexico (full day), including TJ, Rosarito, Puerto Nuevo (lobster town), and Ensenada/ Valley de Guadalupe (wine country).
- Winery trips to Temecula.
- Visit to Oldtown with it’s heritage, outdoor Mexican dining, Mariachi music and awesome Margaritas.
- Indoor activities include Theater, concerts, live music and fine dining.
Optional “Thursday PM” activities.

For those attendees who are planning to be in town on Thursday Oct 22nd (or prior), AND NOT planning their own batch reunions. A hosted evening will be organized at the home of Vivek and Suneethi Nazareth (14008 Arbolitos Drive, Poway, CA-92064, to include an evening of fun, camaraderie, food, beverages and sing-song to kick off what we hope will be a memorable weekend. All are welcome.

- Diamond – $20,000: 10 minutes at Educational Sessions, 2 gala tickets, booth/table, full page ad in brochure, access to registrants on all three days. Sponsor name projected on screen at gala.
- Gold – $10,000: 10 minutes at Educational Sessions, booth/table, ½ page ad in brochure, sponsor recognition of band/Sunday breakfast/Taco truck. Sponsor name projected on screen at gala.
